The house
The walls are the story

Powderhorn was built by VeroTouch, an innovative Colorado construction technology platform company. VeroTouch used a COBOD BOD2 construction printer to follow programmed wall paths and laid down concrete, layer by layer, to form the home’s exterior and interior wall system. At Powderhorn, the printed layers remain exposed and tell the home’s story through the slight variations in each layer that reflect a myriad of possible conditions related to the precise mix of the concrete, ambient temperature, and/or functioning of the printer associated with that particular layer.
The house was built as part of VeroVistas, the Buena Vista project that a plaque by the front door marks as Colorado’s first 3D-printed homes.
